ISO Certifications and Third-Party Assurance

To continuously promote environmental measures at our 10 central kitchens and logistics centers nationwide, we have established and centrally manage a system to collect environmental impact data, set environmental targets, and manage and review implementation status in accordance with international standards for environmental management. Regarding ISO 14001, we have completed certification at all domestic production sites. In addition, we have reorganized food safety and occupational health and safety—which were previously managed through individual systems—into an integrated system and now operate according to ISO 22000 and ISO 45001 standards.
In June 2022, we obtained ISO 20400 certification, the international standard for sustainable procurement, for certain categories. In September 2023, we expanded the scope of registration and obtained the certification for additional areas.
Furthermore, in November 2023, to ensure the reliability of our environmental data, we obtained independent third-party assurance from the Japan Management Association (JMA) for our fiscal 2022 greenhouse gas emissions (Scope 1, Scope 2, and Scope 3 Category 1).
