Skylark Group Environmental Policy
In accordance with "Skylark Group's Charter of Corporate Behavior," Skylark Group actively engages in environmental issues in order to minimize the negative impact of climate change.
1. Compliance with Laws and Regulations
We will comply with environmental laws, regulations, and ordinances, and respond promptly to legal revisions.
2. Consideration for the Environment
We will strive to save energy, reduce food loss and waste, and conserve water throughout our entire supply chain, from procurement of raw materials to manufacturing in our central kitchens, distribution to our stores, cooking in our stores, food delivery to homes and food disposal.
3. Raising Environmental Awareness
We will promote environmental education and ensure that each and every one of our employees will be aware of the need for environmental conservation.
4. Environmental Management
We will set targets for environmental conservation and aim to continuously reduce our environmental impact.
5. Disclosure of Environmental Information
We will make efforts to proactively disclose environmental information and strive for transparency in our environmental conservation activities.

Our group is actively promoting the implementation of an environmental management system to contribute to the realization of a sustainable society.
Specifically, we aim to improve environmental performance and strengthen information disclosure through the following initiatives.
Implementation of Environmental Management System
- We maintain an environmental management system aligned with international standards such as ISO 14001, driving a continuous cycle of setting, implementing, evaluating, and improving our environmental objectives.
- Department heads are designated as "Sustainability Promotion Officers," ensuring clear accountability for executing initiatives and monitoring progress toward our sustainability targets.
- We rigorously assess the environmental impact of our business operations to establish specific reduction targets and develop actionable plans to achieve them.
- To ensure our policies reflect evolving social expectations and the latest scientific insights, we engage in regular consultations with external experts during the formulation and review process.
- We integrate environmental performance into our procurement criteria and strengthen partnerships with suppliers to ensure compliance with environmental standards across the entire supply chain.
Monitoring of Environmental Performance
- We are committed to the continuous measurement and analysis of key environmental data—including greenhouse gas emissions, energy consumption, waste generation, and water usage—to monitor the environmental impact of our business activities on an annual basis.
- To ensure the ongoing enhancement of our environmental performance, we evaluate progress toward our environmental targets and implement necessary improvement measures.
- These monitoring processes and the status of such improvements are reported regularly to the Sustainability Committee and the Board of Directors to ensure appropriate oversight.
Implementation of Related Policies and Strengthening of Information Disclosure
- Environmental policies and information disclosure are implemented under the supervision of the Board of Directors, based on the approval of the Sustainability Committee. The Committee is chaired by the Representative Director, President and COO, with the Chief Sustainability Officer (CSuO) serving as Vice Chairman. Members include the Representative Director, Chairman and CEO, Executive Officers, and the Presidents of group companies.
- We collaborate with government agencies to share information on environmental laws and regulations, work with business partners to reduce environmental impact across the entire supply chain, and proactively disclose environmental information to investors. Furthermore, we provide opportunities for regular consultation and dialogue on environmental issues with these and other diverse stakeholders. By reflecting the feedback and requests obtained through these discussions in our environmental strategy and specific activities, we promote highly transparent environmental management and build relationships of trust.
- Environmental information is proactively disclosed through our website, integrated reports, and other channels to ensure transparency.
